Before we could leave the hospital after Tegan was born I had to get a lesson in bathing her. First the nurse told me the steps and how to hold her, then they brought out what was essentially a metal mixing bowl and I had to show them I knew how to do it. I think I just barely passed - boy was she slippery! The bath we have at home is much easier!
At the beginning Tegan did not like bath time. Crying and screaming were involved. We found she liked showers while she was there, but still hated the drying off/getting-dressed-again part. Now she enjoys the in-water time, either bath or shower, and in the last few weeks we have made it through the entire bath process with no crying, yay! Today she happily munched on her hands while we dried her off and got her into her pjs.
